SHREVEPORT, La. - The Blazers' Softball team took both ends of their Tuesday doubleheader at Centenary to improve to 22-6 on the season and impressive 7-2 mark in true road games. Belhaven took the opening game of the day by a 7-1 scoreline before capping the day with a 3-0 shutout victory in the finale.
Game One (W, 7-1)
The Blazers got off to a strong start in the opening game of the day, plating a pair of runs on an
Ellie Jones double in the top of the 3rd to take an early lead. The Blazers would then add a run in the top of the 4th to restore a two-run lead as
Ellie Williamson delivered an RBI hit.
In the 7th, Belhaven would put the game away with RBI at-bats from
Reagan Bryan and
Anna Caime before
Colby Hollinger delivered a pair of runs on a base hit to put the Blazers up 7-1.
Belle West, who went the distance in the game, slammed the door in the 7th to pick up the win.

Madi Miller plated a run on an RBI single before
Belle West drove in two more win an RBI hit of her own.
