CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Belhaven Men's Tennis team fell to No. 2 Covenant in Friday's CCS Semifinal Match, 5-1, to conclude the Blazers' season.
CCS Player of the Year
Abraham Gonzalez and
Justin Humphrey earned a hard-fought 8-6 win in the No. 1 Doubles match to get the Blazers on the board. Belhaven dropped a pair of doubles matches to fall behind 2-1 heading into singles action.
Covenant picked up three wins to seal the victory by a 5-1 margin. Friday's match marked the second straight season that Belhaven has reached the CCS Semifinals.
The Blazers wrap up the 2024 campaign with a record of 8-13 (4-2 CCS), the most wins since 2018.
