MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Belhaven Blazers were on the road for the first game of the 2021 season as they faced off against the Huntingdon College Hawks and the Hawks came away with a 4-0 win on the pitch on Saturday, September 4.
Austin Priemer scored in the 20th minute to give the Hawks an early lead. During the second half, Priemer would score again to provide Huntingdon with a 2-0 lead. Huntingdon's Liam Kearns added back-to-back goals in the 54th and 57th minute, respectively, scoring 4-0.Â
Tristan White and Enzo Guercio each registered shots during the match, while junior Brady Jacobs accounted for six shots. Junior goalkeeper Alex Martin had three saves during the match.
The Blazers return to action this week at home against the Birmingham-Southern College Panthers on Tuesday, September 7, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
