JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven men's basketball team dropped an 103-78 decision to the LeTourneau University Yellowjackets on Saturday evening in American Southwest Conference play. 

Both teams exchanged buckets for the majority of the first half, but the Yellowjackets extended their lead to double digits at the 11:06 mark. The Yellowjackets then went on a 10-4 run to close out the first hal to bring the score to 46-30 at the halftime break. 

The Blazers could not stop the Yellowjackets' offense as they push the lead to 25 points at the midway point of the second half. The Blazers cut the lead to 13 points, but LETU fought back to close out the half going on a 14-4 run to defeat the Blazers by a final score of 103-79.

As a team, the Blazers shot 72.7 percent from the free throw line and 43.5 percent from the field. Individually, Martavian McWillams led the Blazers scoring 16 points and shot 6-for-11 from the field. Rance Champ finished the game shooting 50 percent from behind the arc and added 15 points. Matthew McMillan and Rian Shields both scored 14 points in the contest. Joseph Jones was 4-for-4 from the charity stripe, shot 50 percent from the field, and posted 10 points in the loss.

The Blazers ended their season with an overall record of 4-13 and was 2-12 in conference play.
