BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Belhaven Women's Basketball played their second game in as many days on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College taking on UT Dallas on Thursday. The Blazers fell to their ASC foe in a non conference contest by an 83-41 final score.
The Blazers were led on the night by junior
Kei Honey who scored 12 points on 4-10 shooting from behind the three point line. Senior
Destiny Johnson finished the night with six points and nine rebounds, which was tied with
Mariah Collins and Lededra Bryant for the team high. Collins, in addition to the share of the team high in rebounding also scored five points, tallied six assists and came up with four steals in 35 minutes of action.
The Blazers will finish off their trip to Birmingham with a Friday night contest against Birmingham-Southern College with a return leg against the Panthers scheduled for Tuesday at 3 PM.
Tip off between the Blazers and Panthers on Friday is scheduled for 7 PM.
