Box Score ABILENE, Texas - The Blazers fell 63-7 on the road against #17 Hardin-Simmons on Saturday.
On the day, Belhaven was led in passing by
Hunter McEachern who went 15-25 for 98 yards and a passing touchdown.
Brad Foley led the Blazers in rushing with 41 yards on 13 carries.
Kolbe Blunt finished with a pair of receptions for 32 yards and
Brooks Brymer caught the lone touchdown for the Blazers.
Defensively, Belhaven was led in tackles by
David Lewis and
Colton Strain who both racked up nine total on the day. Strain also had a pair of tackles for loss including a sack against the Cowboys. The Blazers forced two turnovers on the afternoon, one an inteception by
Seth Gatson, the other a fumble recovered by
Rock Schexnaydre.
The Blazers will be back in action in two weeks against Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 1 PM.
