LONGVIEW, Texas. – The Belhaven University women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers in American Southwest Conference play Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- - ETBU struck first in the 31st minute when Ashleigh Rondon found the back of the net to give the Tigers a 1-0 advantage.
- - The Tigers would quickly find the back of the net again in the 33rd minute when Heather Brady netted a goal off of a rebound to make the score 2-0.
- - The teams would go into intermission, with ETBU leading 2-0.
- - In the 66th minute, the Tigers extended their lead to 3-0, when Hannah Murin scored off of an assist from Raegan Kappler.
- - Heather Brady found the back of the net for the second time today in the 73rd minute to give the Tigers a 4-0 advantage.
- - The Tigers would strike again when Hannah Murin assisted Kalynn Hudman for her first goal of the season. With the goal, the Tigers extend their lead to 5-0.
- - With only 15 minutes left in the match, Erica Rempel would get the Blazers on the board on a sliding kick inside the box to bring the final score to 5-1.

- - As a team, the Blazers had a total of three shots with two being on goal.
- - Erica Rempel had the lone goal for the Green and Gold.
