PINEVILLE, La. – The Belhaven Women's Basketball team closed out the 2015-16 season with a 75-69 victory over Louisiana College on Sunday at H.O. West Fieldhouse.
 
The Blazers trailed early by as much as nine, but used a strong second quarter to take a seven-point lead into the break and never looked back, holding the leading for the remainder of the contest.
 
In their final game, it was the seniors who led the show in the game.
 
Jasmine Brown led the way for the Blazers, scoring 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting with three shots from behind the arc. Brown also had four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
 
Jacinda Smith joined Brown in double figures with 12 points in the game. Smith finished with a double double as the senior grabbed 12 rebounds in her final contest. She also had five blocks in the game.
 
Kyra Washington also had eight points and four rebounds in her final game for the Blazers. Washington also had two blocks and a steal in the game.
 
Sierra Pittman and Candler Gregory finished with eight and seven points, respectively.
 
All nine Blazers to play in the game scored at least two points and collected at least two rebounds for the Green and Gold.
