PINEVILLE, La. - The Belhaven Women's Soccer Team fell to the Louisiana College on a wet and rainy Saturday afternoon at Wildcat Field.
The Lady Wildcats (4-13) scored once in the first half to take an early 1-0 lead. 57 seconds into the second half, the Lady Wildcats added a second goal.
The Blazers (4-9-1) were able to get back into the match with a goal by
Savannah Raines, her first of the season.
The Blazers took 15 shots, with 11 on goal, but were only able to notch the one goal. On the defensive side, the Blazers allowed six shots, with three on goal.
Belhaven will look to regroup for Howard Payne. The Blazers will take on the Lady Jackets on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Citizens National Bank Field.
