The Belhaven offense struggled in Game One, producing just one run in their third consecutive loss. Dominique Corona was credited was the team's only RBI on a sac fly in the third, while Katy Adair contributed two of Belhaven's four hits in the contest.

Adair (9-5) started in the circle but lasted just one inning after surrendering two runs on four hits. She was replaced by Jessica Paris, who allowed two runs on three walks over her four innings of work. Ginger Lonergan was the final Belhaven pitcher, giving up just one hit in a scoreless sixth inning.

Caroline Sagrera (31-6) picked up the victory for Spring Hill, allowing just one run on four hits while going the entire seven innings. In her second victory against the Blazers this year, Sagrera struck out six and walked just one.

The Badgers got on the scoreboard first, leading 3-0 after the first two innings. The home team spread the wealth at the plate, as five players found hits and four drove in a run. Sam Leach, Taylor Lahasky, and Taylor Webre each recorded doubles in the victory, as well.

Belhaven managed to salvage their second doubleheader split of the year with Spring Hill after a 2-0 victory in the regular season's final contest. Corona, Paris, and Emily Todd were the only three hits of the game, while Adair was credited with Belhaven's only run driven in.

It proved to be enough, however, to boost Lonergan (14-5) in the circle, as the senior allowed just five hits in the complete game shutout. She bested Sagrera (31-7), who surrendered just three hits while striking out three and walking one over her seven innings.

Jenna Charnock laced three base hits from the leadoff spot, but the Badgers managed just two more hits and were unable to scratch across a run against Lonergan and the Blazers.

Belhaven will return to action on Wednesday, when they will play their first games of the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament from Gulf Shores, Alabama. For more information regarding times and brackets, visit blazers.belhaven.edu.
