"We were just outmanned tonight," Head Coach Rusty Cram said. "They forced us to guard them one on one, and they were clicking on all cylinders."

Three blazers scored in double figures, as guards Ce-Ce Pittman, Kayla Campora, and Ariel Wilson went for 10 apiece. Kenya Wright tied Bethel's Kenyatta Drake for a game-high eight rebounds. For the hosts, Jackliann Street led all scorers with 16 points, while four other Wildcats scored in double figures, as well.

Bethel shot an outstanding 45% from the field to best Belhaven's 32%, while much of the Bethel offense relied on the three point shot. The home team was able to sink 15 of their 34 from beyond the arc for a remarkable 44% success rate.

"They just had one of those nights and we didn't have an answer," Cram said. "They showed why they're ranked where they are."

Additionally, the Wildcats held the advantage in rebounds by a total of 46-36. The Blazers turned the ball over 16 times but did connect on 17 of their 22 free throws. Their opponents countered with a 12 of 21 effort from the charity stripe.

Belhaven will return home on Saturday, where they will host Blue Mountain College in another SSAC matchup. Tipoff is salted for 2:00 pm from Rugg Arena.

"Everyone we play now is very similar," Cram said. "We just have to stay focused and get better every time we take the court."
