Selma, Ala. - The Belhaven defense held Concordia College to zero points in the second half of Saturday's contest, but a 21 point halftime deficit proved too much to overcome as the Blazers fell to the 22nd ranked team 19-27.  Belhaven scored the first points of the game to take a 6-0 lead in the first quarter, but turnovers and untimely penalties allowed the Hornets to score 27 unanswered points to finish the half.  The Blazers fought back in the second, led by a solid defensive effort and strong running game, to score once in the 3rd and once more in the 4th to pull within 8. Unfortunately, a comeback was not in the cards for the Blazers though, as a late interception sealed the deal for the Hornets and allowed them to run out the clock.
