Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week is Timmy Foster of the Belhaven baseball team. Foster, a senior first baseman from Natchez, MS, compiled a batting average of .462 with a double, three runs batted in and two runs scored in three games against Delta State University and William Carey University. So far this year, Foster is second on the team in batting average at .387 and leads the team in both doubles (23) and RBI's (57). Foster is tied with Craig Dean for the team lead in home runs with seven.
