Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week is Rebecca Rousseau of the Belhaven softball team. Rouseau pitched in two games against Judson College and pitched the Blazers to a 9-1 win over 14th ranked William Carey University. In eight innings of work, Rousseau allowed only one run on four hits, and walked just one while striking out five batters. Her earned run average in the two games was 0.88. On the season, Rousseau is 10-2 with a 1.71 ERA and is second on the team with 75 strikeouts.
