Brittany Carr of the women's basketball team is one of this week's Cellular South Athletes of the Week as she helped lead the Blazers to a 68-53 victory over Rust College. Carr recorded her first double double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds against the Bearcats. For the season, Carr is averaging 7.4 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per contest. She is also tied for second on the team in field goal percentage at 44.8 percent.
