JACKSON, Miss. – Dyron Anderson was selected as the C Spire Athlete of the Week following his performance on Tuesday, November 24 at Millsaps College.

Anderson came off the bench for the Blazers, scoring 14 points in 14 minutes played.

The Kenner, Louisiana native went 5-for-8 from the field and collected two offensive rebounds in his first career game as a Blazer.

Anderson and the Blazers open the home portion of the 2015-16 schedule on Thursday against ASC opponent Mary Hardin-Baylor. The men are scheduled for tip off at 7:30 p.m.
