This weeks "C Spire Athlete of the Week" is Tyler Akins of the Blazer baseball team. Akins, a junior infielder and pitcher from Madison, MS, collected four hits including a double, triple, and two runs batted in during the opening series of the 2014 season against LSU-Alexandria. Akins also earned a save in the final game of the series helping lead Belhaven to a 2-1 record.
