This week's C Spire Blazers Athlete of the Week is Jonathan Ratliff of the men's basketball team. Ratliff had an outstanding weekend for the Blazers leading the team to a pair of crucial Southern States Athletic Conference victories over Southern Wesleyan and Southern Polytechnic State. Ratliff scored a combined 37 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, including 11 in what turned out to be a double double at Southern Poly. He shot over 50% from the field and hit 13 of 16 free throws. Ratliff leads the team in points and rebounds averaging 11.9 and 6.2 respectively.
