This week's C Spire Blazers Athlete of the Week is Carl Blundell of the men's soccer team. Blundell, a senior from York, England, allowed only two goals in two matches against a pair of top NAIA opponents. He earned the win against 9th ranked Rio Grande and combined for six saves on the weekend at the Indiana Wesleyan University Invitational. Blundell has started all five matches this season and owns 12 saves after his performances this past weekend. Blundell was also named the Southern States Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
