This week's C Spire Blazer Athlete of the Week is Justin Mims of the football team. Mims, a junior defensive back from Albany, GA, had another big week for the Blazers with five solo tackles and an interception return for a touchdown in Belhaven's 66-10 win over Bluefield. It was his fourth INT of the season and it was the second time he has taken one back for a TD. The four interceptions are a team high and fourth best in the NAIA. Mims has eight pass breakups and 12 passes defended so far this season. Mims is fifth in the nation in passes defended per game (1.7).
