This week's C Spire Blazer Athlete of the Week is James Bryan of the football team. Bryan, a senior from Saucier, Miss, broke a Belhaven school record with 10 extra points and averaged 51 yards per punt in the Blazers 70-28 win over Campbellsville. Bryan also drilled four kickoffs into the end zone for touchbacks. Bryan continues to lead the nation in punting average with 47.7 yards per punt, is 13th in total scoring (27) points scored per game (6.8) and field goals per game (1). For the second consecutive week, Bryan was named the Mid-South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
