One of this week's C-Spire Blazer Athletes of the Week is Daryl Arnold of the men's basketball team. Arnold, a senior forward from Jackson, MS, led Belhaven in scoring in both games this past week and has been playing extremely well down the stretch. He has scored at least 23 points in each of his last three games after posting 23 points against Mobile and 24 at William Carey. Arnold just missed a double double in Belhaven's victory over Mobile with nine rebounds. Arnold leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game and is second on the team in rebounding at 5.8 boards per contest following last week's performances. Arnold was also named the SSAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
