Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's C-Spire Athletes of the Week is Regena Jackson of the women's basketball team. Jackson had another big week for Belhaven helping guide the Blazers to a pair of key Southern States Athletic Conference victories. Jackson had a season high 31 points in the win over Loyola which gave Belhaven possession of first place in the SSAC West Division. Jackson also had 12 rebounds and 11 assists combined in the two games. Jackson is currently second in the NAIA in total scoring (412 points) and third in the nation in points per game at 21.7.
