One of this week's Blazer Athletes of the Week is Woodie Howard of the men's basketball team. Howard posted a double double with 18 points and 11 rebounds against Talladega College and then followed that up with 17 point effort against Tougaloo College the next night. Earlier in the week, Howard fired in 12 points against Union University (TN).
