Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's Blazer Athlete's of the Week is Christina Atwood of the volleyball team. Atwood had a big week helping Belhaven pickup two wins including a come from behind SSAC victory at the University of Mobile. Atwood registered 26 kills on offense and now has 155 on the season. Not only was Atwood strong on offense, but she was a major factor on the defensive side of the net this past week as well. Atwood recorded 21 digs, five solo blocks, and seven block assists. She leads the team in blocks with 61 and leads the SSAC in that category as well.
