Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Kayla Maldonado of the Blazer softball team. Maldonado, a junior from Luling, LA, went 3 for 6 in two games against second ranked William Carey University this past week and helped Belhaven take one of the two games. Maldonado also scored two runs, had an RBI, and one extra base hit which was a triple. On the season, Maldonado is hitting .352 with six doubles, three triples, and 16 RBI's.
