Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Jimmy Gilford of the Blazer baseball team. Gilford, a senior from Taneytown, MD,  put up some outstanding numbers at the plate this past week compiling 11 hits total hits and eight runs batted in. Five of his hits went for extra bases with four doubles and one triple. Gilford leads the Blazers with .385 batting average, has 70 total hits, and five triples.
