One of this week's "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Josh Clarke of the Blazer baseball team. Clarke, a junior from Clinton, MS, turned in two outstanding performances out of the bullpen earning a win in a 13 inning 6-5 decision against 7th ranked Union University and then notched his sixth save of the year in a key SSAC game against 10th ranked Faulkner University. In 5.2 innings of work this past week, Clarke gave up only two hits and one run while striking out 10. On the season, Clarke is 4-1 with a 1.52 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched.
