NORCROSS, Ga. – The Belhaven women's tennis team had four players earn Southern States Athletic Conference postseason honors when they were recently announced by the league office. Headlining the list were Natalie Krier and
Savannah Zachry who were both SSAC 2nd Team All-Conference selections.
Krier, a senior from Rayville, LA, finished the 2013 season with a 9-6 record in singles matches and was 10-4 in doubles competition. Zachry, a senior from Madison, MS, finished the 2013 campaign with a 10-4 singles record while tabulating a 9-6 mark in doubles play. In addition to her play on the court, Zachry was also recognized for her work in the classroom by being named to the SSAC All-Academic Team.
Joining Zachry on the All-Academic Team was senior Shelly Munn who hails from Meridian, MS. Munn also had a solid year on the court with a 10-4 singles record. Rounding out the honors list was
Elizabeth Chrestman who was Belhaven's SSAC Champions of Character award winner. Chrestman, a junior from Pontotoc, MS posted a record of 9-3 on the court this season.
