SHREVEPORT, La. – The No. 22 Belhaven women's tennis team stayed undefeated on the season with a 9-0 victory over LSU-Shreveport on a chilly Tuesday afternoon.  Senior Shelley Munn did not drop a single game between singles and doubles, pacing the Blazers to their third straight win.

Savannah Zachry and Munn combined to win 8-0 in their first match playing first doubles during the 2013 season. With only five players dressed to play for the Lady Pilots, Belhaven's normal first doubles team, Ashley McLendon and Katherine Campbell took the afternoon off.

Natalia Krier and Indi Mire stayed undefeated, bumped up from their normal spot at third doubles to secure an 8-1 win at the two.

The two victories at the top two flights, combined with the default win at third doubles gave Belhaven an early 3-0 lead in the match.
Krier and Munn made quick work of their opponents in perfect straight sets at third and fourth singles respectively. With the match officially in tow, Mire and Elizabeth Chrestman won their matches 6-1, 6-1 to push the Blazers' lead to 7-0.

McLendon was the final Blazer to leave the court at first singles and the sophomore won her second match of the season at that spot with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Heather McCutchen. McLendon has settled into the top role well after a tough first match in her Belhaven career against Loyola.

LSU-Shreveport defaulted at the sixth singles spot, as the Blazers locked up the clean sweep against the Lady Pilots.
