Belhaven Women’s Tennis Claim’s Votes in Final NAIA Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-The Belhaven women's tennis team remained in the receiving vote's category in the final NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The national office announced the final rankings on Monday afternoon. The Blazers highest ranking of the season was 21st, which also the highest ranking in the history of the program.

Belhaven finished the season with an overall record of 14-7 after falling to William Carey University in the quarterfinals of the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament. Fellow SSAC members joining Blazers in the poll are Auburn-Montgomery who is ranked number one this week. Brenau is seventh followed by William Carey (9th), Shorter (12th), and Lee (18th).

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/independents/unaffiliated groupings. The official NAIA press release and the complete top 25 can be viewed by clicking here.
