MOBILE, Ala.-The Belhaven men's and women's tennis teams had 11 players named 2012 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes when the awards was recently announced by the national office. The Blazer men led the nation with five while the women totaled an NAIA best six scholar athletes.

Rachel Earnheart were scholar athletes on the women's side.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor. The official NAIA press releases can be viewed by clicking below.
