Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven men's basketball team arrived in Kansas City on Monday afternoon as they get set for the 2010 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division I National Tournament. The Blazers will battle Biola University in the opening round contest Wednesday night at 10:30 PM.

The team practiced at the University of Missouri Monday morning and then participated in an NAIA Champions of Character event in the afternoon. The Blazers spent some time with kids at a YMCA in Olathe Kansas which is located right outside of Kansas City. The players talked about the five core character values of the Champions of Character initiative and also worked with them on some of their basketball skills.

On Tuesday the team will begin final preparations for Wednesday's game and attend the tournament banquet at the Convention Center Tuesday night. Photos from the trip will be posted beginning on Tuesday.
