Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven men's basketball team fell to 20th in the latest 2009-2010 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll when it was released by the NAIA on Monday afternoon.

Belhaven had a tough week dropping a pair of games at Xavier University of New Orleans and Tougaloo College. The Blazers now stand at 17-4 overall and 7-2 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference which ties them for second in the league standings with Tougaloo. Due in part to Tougaloo's victory over the Blazers, the Bulldogs moved up from 21st to 18th in this week's poll while LSU-Shreveport remained in the number five spot after notching a pair of wins last week. The Pilots are alone atop the GCAC standings with a record of 8-1.

Belhaven will be back in action Thursday night when they travel LSU-Shreveport to take on the first place Pilots beginning at 7:30 PM.
