Anchorage, Alaska-Former Belhaven quarterback
Andrew Carcich recently signed a contract for the 2010 season with the Indoor Football League's Alaska Wild in Anchorage Alaska. Carcich, a native of St. Martin, MS, was an assistant coach for the Blazers this past fall.
Carcich played for two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College prior to transferring to Belhaven for the 2007 and 2008 campaigns. Carcich completed 56 percent of his passes and scored four touchdowns during his senior year in 2008. As an assistant coach for the Blazers in 2009, Carcich worked with the quarterbacks who combined to throw 27 touchdowns while the offense averaged 237.5 yards of passing per game.
