Jackson, MS-Head Coach Rick Fremin and the Belhaven Softball program are pleased to announce the signing of CeCee Austin from Itawamba Community College.

Austin, a native of Randolph, MS, prepped at South Pontotoc High School and is currently in year two at ICC. Austin is a pure-power hitter who is very aggressive at the plate and is capable of playing all infield positions. During her freshman year in 2009 at ICC, Austin hit .450, with 64 RBI, and drilled 15 homeruns.

"CeCee is very impressive at the plate and will be a great addition to the middle of our lineup," stated Fremin.

Belhaven College is a member of the NAIA, Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, and Mid-South Conference and sponsors 13 intercollegiate sports.
