Blazers Season Ends with 2-0 Loss to Bellevue

Dallas, TX-The Belhaven women's soccer team saw their season come to a close on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to Bellevue University in the first round of the NAIA Unaffiliated Tournament in Dallas, TX.
The Blazers out shot the Bruins 13-8, but Bellevue made two of those eight shots count resulting in a pair of first half goals. Erika Roberts scored the first goal of the contest followed by another goal by Jenna Pendley a few minutes later. The Bruins kept Belhaven off the board the rest of the way to secure the win.
Blazer goalie Jessica Eggold made two saves as she suffered the loss which was her sixth this season. Sarah Boone earned the victory in net for Bellevue and turned away seven Belhaven shot attempts. Dana Sullivan paced the Blazers in total shots with four.
With the loss, Belhaven ends the year with an overall record of 7-7-3.
