Men's Final Results Women's Final Results
Mobile, AL-The Belhaven men’s and women’s cross country teams were both in action on Saturday at the University of Mobile Rampage Meet in Mobile, AL. The Blazer men finished third out of five teams with a total time of 1:33:20 in the 5k race. The Blazer women completed the course in second place out of four teams turning in a total time of 1:52:48 in the 5k race.
The Belhaven women’s team was led by Hannah Reese who finished the race fourth overall in a field of 31 total runners. Reese turned in a total time of 20:20. Lea Schumacher, Jackie Bateman, and Callie Osborn finished in seventh, eighth, and ninth positions in that order with times of 21:41, 21:53, and 21:56 respectively. Katie Butler rounded out the field for Belhaven in 23rd place with a time of 26:54.
The Belhaven men’s team was paced by Luke Lennon who crossed the line in ninth place out of 37 runners with a total time of 18:11. Peter Davis finished 11th with a time of 18:16, Douglas Coker was 13th with a time of 18:23, Thomas Kazery finished 17th with a time of 18:35, and Andrew Sinclair completed the course in 23rd with a time of 19:54.
The Belhaven men and women will both compete in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference meet on November 7th in Clinton, MS. This year’s event is hosted by Xavier University of New Orleans.
