Blazers Sign Winston
Joel Thornton Jackson, Miss., Krayleon Winston, a 6'0", 175 pound, point guard, from Jackson, MS has signed a letter of intent to join the Belhaven Men's Basketball Team next season. Winston graduated from Wingfield High School, before playing the past 2 seasons at Hinds Community College. "Krayleon is a quality kid that we are excited about getting into our program. We really wanted to get him two years ago before he went to Junior College," said Blazers head Coach Tom Kelsey. "Coach Kason Whitten did an outstanding job recruiting the family and Krayleon." "Krayleon has a very good knowledge of the game and has a real feel for his teammates on the floor. He recently played in the junior college all-star game and played well against the best Junior College players in the state. He is such a quality person that has the potential to be a very good spiritual leader for our team."
