2008-09 Signing ClassBlazers Sign Dean
Jackson,
Miss.,
Belhaven Baseball would
like to announce that Northwest MS CC First Baseman, Craig
Austin Dean, has committed to Belhaven College by signing a
letter of intent.
Dean, a native of Cold Water, MS, is expected to attend Belhaven
College in the fall of 2008.
As
a Soph. at Northwest, Dean hit . 392 with 8 HR, 13 Doubles and
37 RBI.

hitter. Hopefully he can come in and continue the success he has
had in JUCO the last couple of years."-Hill Denson
Dean chose Belhaven College over Delta State and Mississippi
College.
Craig Dean is the son of Jimmy and Tonya Dean of Cold Water, MS.
Belhaven Baseball Gets First Commitment for the 08-09 Signing Class
Jackson, Miss., Belhaven Baseball would like to announce
that Shades Mountain Christian Middle Infielder, Justin Hill,
has commitment to Belhaven College by signing a Letter of
Intent. Hill, a native of Pelham , AL is expected to attend
Belhaven in the Fall of 2008.
As
a Junior, Hill had a .548 BA with 14 2B, 1 3B, and 1 HR. He was
also 24 of 28 in stolen bases.
Hill was selected 2007 All-State, All Metro and Offensive Player
of the Year. He has been All Metro and a Wendy's HS Heisman
Nominee for two consecutive years(06 & 07). Along with his
athletic achievements, Hill is a member of the National Honor
Society and Mu Alpha Theta.
Justin
is the son of Jeffrey and Kelly Hill of Pelham, AL
He
selected Belhaven College over Univ. of West Alabama, Univ. of
North Alabama, Samford University and Bethel College.
